Keep on keepin’ on!

Sometimes things feel as though they have been the same for so long! Day in and day out you are doing all of the things; meeting for IEP’s, taking your child to therapy, practicing at home, and loving them so hard! BUT is anything changing?!

I am here to tell you YES! They are growing and learning all of the time. You are doing an amazing job!

Sometimes we just need to look for small wins! Your speech therapist may be able to help you with just that!

SO ASK QUESTIONS!

I promise you we are also looking for small wins and those little milestones to reach the larger goal; so please ask us where we feel the child is successful!

No matter what we are targeting, there are always little steps to get there! We are keeping track of these steps and are more than willing to talk you through the process of how we can get to the bigger goal; it is a journey and we are all along for the ride!

I encourage you to jump in and let your therapist know you want to engage as much as possible and are open to learning!

This really propels progress as well because then you can incorporate the same techniques at home!

We are all in this together! We love your collaboration and will always encourage it. So please insert yourself into therapy and come along for the ride!
